Grand River Transit Hands-On Workshop

We are excited to announce a special session featuring Dave Steffler from Grand River Transit (GRT). During this workshop, members will be shown how to install and set up the GRT app on their smartphones. We also hope to have age verification completed during the meeting so you can start using the app by the time you leave! With the configured app, you'll be able to ride Grand River Transit for $3 instead of $4, plus enjoy free all-day travel one day each week. This is a wonderful opportunity to master your smartphone and make transit easier while the weather is nice.

Dave has also generously offered to lead a group training run on another day - taking the bus from DCC to the St. Jacobs Farmers' Market for coffee and shopping, then guiding everyone back. Stay tuned for the date and details! 

About Dave Steffler:

Dave has been involved in community development, personal support work, and sustainable transportation initiatives here in Kitchener-Waterloo for over 20 years. In his current role as Eligibility and Training Specialist with Grand River Transit, Dave is able to combine many of his support work and sustainable transportation interests into one job. Dave works to promote and deliver educational programs and general information about Grand River Transit Services to individuals, community groups, organizations, and schools. Dave gets around town by mostly using transit, his bicycle, and walking.
