Our Share and Learn sessions are interactive, social gatherings focusing on personal use of technology. Participants have a choice to bring their own smartphones, tablets, laptop computers, or they may borrow devices that belong to the club (iPads, Samsung tablets, Windows laptops and Chromebooks). Many new ideas are introduced and explored; members work together and learn from each other in a collaborative, supportive environment.

Many people know we should have our affairs in order long before the task becomes necessary, yet somehow procrastination takes over. Upon My Demise is a workshop led by Colin Read, a retired public school teacher, designed to guide you through the full overview of end-of-life planning, from drafting a will to deciding who'll care for your pet, and everything in between. You'll leave with a detailed checklist, along with ready-to-use templates for recording and organizing the information with a tech-friendly digital approach that's easy to update and maintain.

A valid Kitchener Group Card is required to attend in person meetings. Kitchener Group Cards are now on sale by phone or in person at any Kitchener Community Centre. They are good for unlimited visits for groups at any City of Kitchener Community Centre.
