Our Share and Learn sessions are interactive, social gatherings focusing on personal use of technology. Participants have a choice to bring their own smartphones, tablets, laptop computers, or they may borrow devices that belong to the club (iPads, Samsung tablets, Windows laptops and Chromebooks). Many new ideas are introduced and explored; members work together and learn from each other in a collaborative, supportive environment.

Held on the 4th Wednesday of each month, September to June

June Share And Learn

Topic: Cruise the Digital Seas to Confidence
We're planning a fun-filled morning where you'll get to practice what you learned during this past club year. If you missed a session, come with your curiosity and a sense of fun!! Join us for a fun and interactive voyage through four exciting ports of call where you'll test your skills spotting phishing scams, separate real news and images from fake, discover how AI can help us solve problems and answer questions, and explore useful smartphone apps. Travel from station to station with your Tech Cruise Passport, earn stamps along the way, and enjoy learning with fellow members in this engaging, hands-on adventure.
Oh, and to help us set the scene - CRUISE WEAR and accessories are welcome!
We hope to sea you there! 🚢 All Aboard!!
Note: There will be no $2 collection for coffee and refreshments this month - coffee and tea are on us! You're warmly invited to bring along a favourite snack or treat to share during our break time, but please don't feel any obligation; your company is all we need!
