Welcome to October!
The fall is bringing a few exciting changes and new opportunities for Kitchener Tech Club! We’re continuing to build new community partnerships - in September we made valuable connections with the Research Institute for Aging and Grand River Transit. We are branching out with exciting guest speakers, tours, and new ways to connect with organizations and people in our community.
You’ll also notice some slight changes to our meeting formats from time to time. These changes are designed to better accommodate our guests, create more opportunities for hands-on learning, and give all of us more ways to share, explore, and learn together.
As always, our goal is to keep Kitchener Tech Club a welcoming place where we can discover new technology, learn from one another, and stay connected.
We’re looking forward to an exciting fall and hope you’ll join us for what’s ahead!
See you in October!
~ Susan

Upon My Demise - workshop
Many people know we should have our affairs in order long before the task becomes necessary, yet somehow procrastination takes over. Upon My Demise is a workshop led by Colin Read, a retired public school teacher, designed to guide you through the full overview of end-of-life planning, from drafting a will to deciding who'll care for your pet, and everything in between. You'll leave with a detailed checklist, along with ready-to-use templates for recording and organizing the information with a tech-friendly digital approach that's easy to update and maintain.

Can't find us on Facebook or Instagram? Don't take it personally - we didn't "unfriend" or "dis-like" you! It's just that we noticed those sites aren't getting very many visitors. As a volunteer-run group, we felt we should spend more time on things that people want and are using. We therefore closed our "pages" on Facebook and Instagram at the end of August.
We encourage you to stay up-to-date with what’s happening by checking the Kitchener Tech Club website for all information about the club, past events, and upcoming dates.
