Membership / Contact

Membership in the Kitchener Tech Club is free with a Kitchener Group Card (more below), and is open to older adults ages 55 and over living in the Waterloo Region. The club offers a variety of opportunities to learn from experts, learn from each other, receive individual and group tech support, and meet and become part of a vibrant community.

The Kitchener Tech Club is grateful to the City of Kitchener for their sponsorship. They offer us space for our meetings and events at Kitchener's Downtown Community Centre. The address is:

35B Weber Street West
Kitchener, Ontario
N2H 3Z1
519-741-2501

We're a City of Kitchener Ongoing Group with program administration separate from our club. They have TWO requirements to participate in club events:

1. Have a valid Kitchener Group Card.
It's $19.18/year for ages 55+ and gives you unlimited group access plus a Downtown Community Centre parking permit! Grab or renew yours at any community centre in Kitchener.

2. Register for our events on ActiveNet each session (Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer).
There are THREE ways to register:

1. Use Kitchener’s online ActiveNet portal (check our online instruction guide for steps), or

2. Visit the front desk of any Kitchener Community Centre, or

3. Call 519-741-2501

We offer FOUR events most months:

1. Drop in (second Wednesday morning of the month)

2. Speakers Meetings (third Wednesday morning of the month except July and August)

3. Share & Learn (fourth Wednesday morning of the month except July, August and December)

4. Virtual Drop In (fourth Monday afternoon of the month except July, August, and December)

You can register separately for each of these events, however you have a faster option by selecting the "Kitchener Tech Club" package, using activity code #226247. Click on the online instruction guide link above for full instructions.

Stuck on any of these? We’re happy to help you sort it out at any of our events.
