Share and Learn

Our Share and Learn sessions (formerly Show and Tell) are interactive, social gatherings focusing on personal use of technology. Participants have a choice to bring their own smartphones, tablets, laptop computers, or they may borrow devices that belong to the club (iPads, Samsung tablets, Windows laptops and Chromebooks). Many new ideas are introduced and explored; members work together and learn from each other in a collaborative, supportive environment.

When:
Held on the 4th Wednesday of each month, September to June

THIS MONTH's MEETING - March 25

Wednesday, March 25, 9:30 - 11:30, at the Downtown Community Centre (if the weather is poor, this meeting will be held over Zoom - an announcement will be emailed the day before, including the Zoom link)

TOPIC: This month, we will exploring our Mail apps on mobile devices, and the many options we have for managing them effectively. This may include: looking at the various sorting options we have to view our mail - Primary, Promotions, Drafts, Sent, etc.; how to delete, block, unsubscribe, report as spam, etc.; how to create folders or labels to sort our mail - and more as time allows.

Some of these strategies will be demonstrated. As always, there will be lots of guidance and support as we all explore together!
